Bacon and Frisee Avocado Toast

  • 1/2 avocado, pit removed and flesh scooped from the skin
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 thick slice of bread, lightly toasted
  • Torn frisee
  • 1 slices cooked bacon, crumbled


  1. Add avocado to a small bowl with lemon juice, kosher salt and black pepper to taste. Coarsely mash, then spread over toasted bread.
  2. Top with torn frisee and crumbled bacon. Finish with a final squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkling of kosher salt. Enjoy immediately!
